Lucky escape for taxi passengers in Southbroom crash

Paramedics have had a busy day.

Paramedics have attended to an accident scene involving a taxi which has left only one person with minor injuries.
Craig Botha of Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service said luckily a further 16 people escaped the crash unharmed on the R61 near Southbroom.
“When emergency services arrived they found that a taxi had lost control and left the road,” he said.
The patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital.

This morning, Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R61 Mpenjati Bridge for reports of a collision.
Botha said that when emergency services arrived they found that two vehicles had been involved in a collision.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that four patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
