NEW TACTIC: Glass bottles used to shut road near Izingolweni

Anger over having no water is believed to be the reason for the protest action.

A group of protestors have closed the road at Izingolweni on the way to Harding.

They’ve used what appears to be a new tactic, with the group having placed hundreds of glass bottles on the tar.

It is believed the protestors are furious about the ‘no-water-situation’ in the area.

Motorists are urged to be cautious when travelling in and near the area.
