Bail denied in ‘hitman’ case

Bail was denied to the 40-year-old Izotsha man who is facing two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.

The bail application extended over two days – Friday, March 31 and then on, Tuesday, April 4 – with the court hearing evidence from Detective Warrant Officer Hermann Pienaar of the Hawks.
Then, last Thursday, April 6, Magistrate Tina Singh denied bail in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court.
The case was postponed to May 19.
