New born baby abandoned on dump site in Mkholombe

The investigation has been taken over by Saps.

Lazer 911 Security control centre received a call from a member of the public who reported a possible new born baby seen on a dump site.

Reaction officers were immediately dispatched and confirmed it was a new born baby which seemed lifeless on a dump site in Mkholombe, Bhobhoyi

Saps and medical services were immediately informed.

Lazer swiftly cordoned off the scene until Saps, followed by mortuary and forensic teams arrived on the scene.

The infant was certified as deceased.

The mother is unknown and the investigation has been taken over by Saps.
