Soccer stars abound at Margate Primary
In the U11 matches, leading goal scorer was Ithandile Mbebe.
Margate Primary School’s athletics programme is well under way in preparation for the inter-house athletics meeting in August.
The away soccer games were all successful and scorers for the U13 teams were Anelisa Shusha, Ngiyabonga Mbuyisa, Amkele Vundle and a hat-trick by Sambulo Sihlongonyane.
In the U11 matches, leading goal scorer was Ithandile Mbebe. Both teams played exceptionally well.
The school bid farewell to Charlene Eisenbach, one of the educators last term, and this term welcomed Andiswa Mfingwana who will be taking over her class.
They also welcomed back coach Andre Leach who has taken over from coach Gershion Lorrence.
The parents’ evening hosted last week was also a huge success, despite load-shedding.
