UP IN SMOKE: Vehicle bursts into flames inland of Port Shepstone

Officials were on scene fairly soon.

Four occupants escaped without harm when the vehicle they were in caught fire along St Faiths Road near Oshabeni this afternoon.
Oshabeni is situated about 12km inland of Port Shepstone, near St Faiths.
It is uncertain as to what caused the fire. Dark smoke could be seen billowing into the hot summer sky as flames burnt the vehicle to a crisp.
The driver of the car managed to get the vehicle to the side of the road.
Saps and traffic official attended the scene to ensure the safe and smooth flow of traffic.
