The Marburg community is urged to join a clean-up on July 11. The starting point is the Sai Centre Ashram at 07:30, with Venus Road, Dairy Road, Mount Moriah Church, Hope Park, 1st Avenue and Dexter Road being cleaned.
The clean-up has been initiated by Powerflex Fitness, Umbango River Conservancy and members of the Shree Raam Narayan Temple in Marburg.
Sean Pillay from Powerflex Fitness said the clean-up is to work together to uplift the area.
“Every person has a role to play in community development. Volunteering time, sharing knowledge, and supporting local initiatives can make a lasting difference. When communities come together, they become safer, healthier, and more resilient.”
