Unleash the beast – the Nissan Navara Warrior
The toughest Navara yet, with the looks to match.
Nissan has officially debuted the Navara Pro-4X Warrior in South Africa – a more rugged and capable version of its popular Navara bakkie.
It stands out with its muscular design elements. “Unleash the beast – the Nissan Navara PRO 4X Warrior is built to conquer and is ready for anything,” said sales executive at Thompson Motors Port Shepstone, Jereld Latchmigadu.
He added that the Warrior boasts 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Maxxis Razr 10-ply side wall-terrain tyres for superior traction.
The black grille features a bold red Nissan badge, adding a touch of aggression to its front end. Black side-steps with red accents, roof rails, and a black sports bar contribute to its rugged look.
To make the vehicle more capable off-road, the Warrior is fitted with bolt-on wheel arch cladding and a red-accented front skid plate, enhancing its approach angle.
Additionally, the Pro-4X Warrior decals adorn the side of the loadbin, marking it a special edition of the Navara.
Under the hood, the Pro-4X Warrior keeps the 2.5-litre turbo diesel engine found in the regular Pro-4X. This engine produces 140kW and 450Nm of torque, providing ample power for both on-road and off-road driving. The engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and a part-time four-wheel-drive system.
The vehicle also features a rear diff-lock, which provides enhanced traction on slippery or uneven surfaces, further boosting the Warrior’s off-road capabilities.
The Pro-4X Warrior is set to be a strong competitor in the local market, particularly, for those looking for a bakkie that can handle work and adventure easily.
