Man sought in hijacking

The incident occurred in Scottburgh in May.

The public is requested to help police find a man who may be able to assist detectives in a case of hijacking which occurred at Emagcino bus stop in Scottburgh on May 12.

According to police, two people were kidnapped after a white Chevrolet Spark was taken at gunpoint.

“The hijackers drove a distance with them and dropped them off on the side of the road after robbing them of their personal belongings,” said Captain Petros Mpinge of Port Shepstone Saps.

“The vehicle was later recovered.”
