KZN police have launched a manhunt for the suspects.

Police are on the hunt for four suspects who allegedly shot and killed three women and injured two more, including an 11-year-old girl in Magwaza area, Malangeni, last Sunday night.

According to police reports, it is believed that the five women were in a rondavel getting ready to go to sleep when the four suspects forced the door open.

One of the suspects, who is said to have had his face concealed with a balaclava, allegedly pointed out the women he wanted shot and killed.

Three women, aged 28, 37 and 61, were found with multiple gunshot wounds and were declared dead at the scene.

The surviving victims, the 11-year-old girl and a 60-year-old woman had gunshot wounds to their arms and legs.

The motive is yet to be established, and the suspects are unknown at this stage.
