Man arrested for selling drugs near school in Park Rynie

Colonel Ralph Ruiters welcomed the arrest.

Scottburgh Saps Rapid Response and Umzinto K9 members received information yesterday (June 25) regarding a 44-year-old man who was selling drugs near a school in Park Rynie.

The members followed up and proceeded to search the man.

They found clear packets of khat, rock cocaine and crystal meth in his possession.

He was arrested and will appear in the Scottburgh Magistrates’ court on a charge of dealing in drugs.

Scottburgh Saps station commander, Colonel Ralph Ruiters welcomed the arrest made by his members and the K9 unit.

“I want to plead with the public to report drug dealers and any suspicious criminal activity to police. Only together can we make the area safer for all of us,” he said.
