Child rapist handed 20 years jail time
He was sentenced on August 21, and declared unfit to possess a firearm.
Child rapist Lungani Dominique Xaba of KwaNgwenda location in Msinsini received 20 years’ imprisonment in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court recently.
Xaba was convicted of repeatedly raping a 10-year-old child, which occurred between April 2023 and February 2024.
He was sentenced last Wednesday and also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
The investigating officer in the case was Detective Sergeant Nokwazi Mhlanga of the Port Shepstone Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS).
