Three people were arrested by members of Saps Port Edward for possession of drugs and dealing in drugs last Thursday.
In an intelligence-driven operation, a specific house was targeted at Thongasi, KwaNzimakwe, where a man (45) was found with at least nine packets of crystal meth, a packet of dagga and cash. He was arrested.
A woman (24) was also arrested in Thongasi area after her home was searched by police. Twenty five heroin capsules and about 25 straws of crystal meth were found in her possession.
A man (24) was arrested for being in possession of one packet of crystal meth.
All three will appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on charges of dealing in drugs and possession of drugs.
The public is encouraged to report all criminal activities in their respective areas.
