Arrest made in woman’s murder

The 55-year-old suspect used a large stone on the 25-year-old woman.

Police have arrested a 55-year-old man who allegedly fatally assaulted his girlfriend at Mgayi area in Sawoti on November 24.

It is believed that he used a large stone on the 25-year-old woman.

The case was assigned to Detective Sergeant Mfanelo Mchunu of Dududu Detective Service.

Positive leads paid off when the man who had fled the area was arrested in Dumisa last Wednesday.

He will appear in the Dududu District Court on a charge of murder.
