Jeremiah Elias Ncwane (62) was found guilty for the repeated rape of a child in the Umkhunya location in Dududu in 2023.
He received a 15-year imprisonment at Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court earlier this month.
He was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
The investigating officer in this case was Detective Sergeant Vuyiswa Dlamini of Port Shepstone Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS).
