Eight years jail for teen murderer
The investigating officer in the case was Detective Captain Lami Mjweni of Port Shepstone Detective Service.
Murderer Ndumiso Goodenough Ngcobo (19) was sentenced in the Port Shepstone Regional Court to eight years’ direct imprisonment.
He was sentenced earlier this month for the murder of a man (25) who was found on the N2 in Boboyi on January 28, 2024.
The man was found seriously injured as a result of several stab wounds to the upper body.
He was taken to a local hospital for urgent treatment, but he died.
Ngcobo was further declared unfit to possess a firearm.
