UPDATE: Missing Umkomaas man found safe

It has been confirmed by police that Shaylin Ryan Dasrath has been found.

UPDATE:

Umkomaas Saps has confirmed that Shaylin Ryan Dasrath has been found safe.

Captain Ranjith Rampersad wishes to thank all those involved in the search.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Shaylin Ryan Dasrath (27) of Umkomaas is missing.

Police spokesperson Captain Ranjith Rampersad confirmed that a missing person’s report has been filed at Umkomaas Saps and is currently under investigation.

Dasrath was last seen in Craigieburn on April 18.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black Nike tracksuit, black takkies and a black shirt.

He has a tattoo on his left arm.

The investigating officer in the case is Detective Sergeant Yudesh Sukunandan. If anyone has any information on Dasrath’s whereabouts, contact Sukunandan on 071 2321981.
