Police seek help to identify two deceased people in Port Shepstone

The public’s assistance is needed to identify two people found dead in Port Shepstone.

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two dead people in separate inquest cases.

In the first case, police responded to a scene outside a liquor outlet in Marburg on March 10, 2023 at about 20:00, where a man believed to be around 65 years old allegedly collapsed and died. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, blue jacket, and black formal shoes. No identification was found on him and his identity remains unknown.

In the second case, the body of a woman believed to be in her late sixties, was found along Sugarmill Road on February 26. She was wearing a dress with pink and green flowers and had short grey hair.

Anyone whose family member has not returned home, especially from the surrounding areas, should contact Detective Warrant Officer Ayesha Mariano on 039 6881055 or 072 0471036.
