Police warn against employment scam

Saps has stated that employment in the police is advertised on designated channels.

Ugu District police warns the public about an employment scam currently making the rounds on social media.

The scam requests interested applicants in the 18-35-year age group to send a matric certificate to a ‘Captain Ngcobo’.

Saps has stated that employment in the police is advertised on designated channels such as the Saps or Department of Public Service and Administration websites.

Furthermore, the public is reminded that at no point will Saps request payment for applications.
