Link Road washaway receives attention

A massive wash away damaged a section of Link Road in Umtentweni last year, and for several months it had not been cordoned off, nor a danger sign erected warning motorists.

After the Herald highlighted the danger last week, the municipality cordoned off the damaged section of the road.

This stretch of Link Road is also riddled with potholes and the municipality said repairs were in progress and that internal teams had started with preparation work last week.
