Bikers ride against gender based violence

One of the highlights of the day was the powerful and heartfelt testimony from Jessica Naicker of Ignite Revolution.

About 100 bikers from different biker ministries and clubs attended the annual South Coast Bikers’ Toy Run last Sunday.

Pastor Anton Meyer thanked everyone who gave towards the cause, as a large number of toys and educational items were collected.

“The donations will be given to various organisations, focusing on the less fortunate, and especially those children who are victims of abuse,” he said.

A strong message went out from the biking community, family and friends, not to be silent regarding gender based violence.

“Every citizen has a unique role to play, to be an activist against this evil that prowls, especially among those close to us who we are supposed to trust. There is help for every victim, as well as every abuser. Speak out, get help,” said Meyer.

One of the highlights of the day was when Jessica Naicker, the founder of Ignite Revolution, shared her powerful and heartfelt testimony.
