Grocery hampers handed to needy families

The Hibiscus Coast Navaratri Committee tried its best to put together a value packed hamper.

Several South Coast families had a joyous afternoon after members of the Hibiscus Coast Navaratri Committee handed over grocery hampers at Marburg Haven recently.

Guests were also treated to a feast of entertainment, as well as lunch.
Committee president, Ashok Ramouthar said it was an incredible effort by the members of his committee.

“In these trying times, we tried our best to put together a value packed hamper, with support from our annual sponsors. The worrying factor is that there are a lot more desperate people out there who need these hampers. I hope that other NPOs and NGOs take heed of this and are also able to help out,” he added.
