Distraught father appeals to public for funds to bury his daughter (13)

Amahle Nakho (13) was the victim of a hit-and-run in Pennington.

Tragedy struck in Pennington on Sunday afternoon (May 5) when thirteen year old Amahle Nakho died after she was struck by a vehicle.

According to police reports, it was the same vehicle in which she received a lift from Kelso (her residential area) to Pennington.

This incident is believed to have happened around 15:30 that day on the corner of Gumtree and Pennington Drive.

Later that day, the 35-year-old driver was located and arrested and is expected to appear in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court on a charge of culpable homicide.

A public appeal is now being made by Amahle’s father Henry for assistance with the funeral.

He would appreciate money to cover the funeral costs or food for the day.
