JUST IN: Taxi and truck protest shuts roads on KZN South Coast [WATCH]

Roads have been blocked, apparently by disgruntled taxi drivers.

Motorists are to drive with caution as a taxi and truck protest has shut the following roads on the South Coast this morning (May 23):

  • The main Harding Road at Marburg KFC and at Shell robots.
  • Murchison and Merlewood robots at Mkholombe have been blocked off.
  • Ugu robots in Marburg has also been closed due to protest action.
  • Further the P200 at Ghamalakhe is closed off.
  • The Oribi Plaza toll road offramp blocked.
  • Main Port Shepstone intersection.

According to the Lazer 911 this is due to taxi protest against RTI Provincial for enforcing the law.
