Margate beauty shines

Rochelle Robbetze will be back on stage in Umhlanga next month.

Rochelle Robbetze says bringing home the recent annual Mr & Miss/Mrs Kwazulu-Natal Provincial Pageant crown is such an honour for her.

Robbetze from Margate is grateful for the support from family, friends and the community.

“This victory is not just mine but ours. It’s a testament to the strength and beauty of our region. I hope to use this platform to inspire and empower others, promoting the values and causes close to my heart. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and made this possible,” she said.

Robbetze was described as a powerfully vivacious woman who knows what she wants in life.

She also took part in the Mrs Supreme Queen Global Earth Africa pageant last year, where she made top 10 and won the women empowerment award.

Robbetze thanked mentors Ntsoaki Sibiya, Johanni Steenkamp and Juanita RM Smit, who have supported her.

Robbetze has recently been nominated as an Influential Women of the Year at this year’s Influential Women and Artes Awards 2024 at the Sibaya Theatre in Umhlanga on July 7.
