JUST IN: Homes at popular Hibberdene resort catch on fire [WATCH]

All emergency services are on the scene.

Residents and firefighters are currently fighting to save the remaining homes at Anchors Aweigh in Woodgrange, Hibberdene.

It has been reported that so far, eight thatched-roofed homes have caught alight in the resort. However, this number has not been confirmed,  and the Herald is waiting for an official report from Ray Nkonyeni Municipality.

The KZN South Coast has experienced strong winds for most parts of the day today (31st), which is not helping the situation.
