Navaratri celebrations conclude this week
Various temples are observing the auspicious festival.
The last few days of Navaratri, a Hindu festival, will be celebrated until the end of this week.
It is being observed by the following temples:
* The Hibiscus Coast Navaratri Committee is hosting the festival at the Port Shepstone Arya Samaj in Andreason Street until Friday, October 11. The prayer takes place at 18:00.
The committee will be performing the Kanya pooja today (Thursday) and the rose ceremony this Friday (11th), where 108 roses will be offered to Mata Di as she is bid farewell.

* The Umbango Sri Siva Soobramoniar Temple will observe the following: Maha Saraswathi prayer this Friday (11th) with hawan at 18:00; Purtassi this Saturday (12th) at 15:00 followed by a Raam Bhajan prayer from 19:00.

* The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir will conclude its Navaratri prayer this Saturday (12th). During the week, the prayer will be at 18:00. Maha Saraswati Puja will be observed today (Thursday) and Kanya Puja this Friday (11th).
The Divine Life Society of South Africa will host various programmes at the mandir this Sunday (13th).

* As part of its Navaratri celebrations, the Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society in Marburg will observe Sri Durga Naumi this Friday (11th) and Vijay Dashmi this Saturday (12th) from 10:00.
