Combined operations aim to stop illegal hunting

It proved to be a successful operation.

It’s safe to say that law enforcement – and protecting the environment – requires teamwork.

With this in mind, the recent Rural Safety Operation in the Oribi Flats farming area last month saw Paddock police, Ezemvelo Wildlife officers, and security companies Ombidi and Wolf come together to combat illegal hunting (and other crimes) in the area.

It proved to be a successful operation, with the partnership between these law enforcement agencies bearing fruit in the sense that numerous snares were found.

More operations and initiatives have been planned to continue to combat any illegal hunting.
