Be a hero, donate blood

Suzuki South Coast invites everyone to donate blood at the dealership in Port Shepstone on October 24.

Suzuki South Coast in Port Shepstone is playing its part in saving lives. The dealership has teamed up with the South African Blood Service (Sabs) and will host a community blood donation drive on Thursday, October 24.

Not many people know, but it takes only one pint of blood to potentially save three lives. By simply rolling up your sleeve, you could be a hero to someone in need – whether it’s a child battling cancer, a mother undergoing surgery, or a patient recovering from a life-threatening injury. Every donation counts and every donor is a hero. The blood drive starts from 09:00 and ends at 15:00.

Anechia Werner from Suzuki South Coast said the whole process only takes about 30 minutes of your time. “Knowing you’ve made a tangible impact on someone’s life is an unbeatable feeling. Whether you’re a first-time donor or a seasoned giver, we invite everyone from the community to stop by Suzuki South Coast. It’s a chance to give back, meet others in the community, and, most importantly, make a real difference. There will be refreshments and friendly faces to cheer you on throughout the process,” said Anechia.
