Worldwide wonder continues to thrive

Henry was brought to the conservation centre around 1985.

It is once again that time of the year for celebrity croc Henry to celebrate his birthday.

This massive Nile crocodile will be turning 124 years old this Monday.

Henry is believed to be the oldest known Nile crocodile in captivity worldwide and has played a major role in attracting tourists to Scottburgh over the years as he resides at Crocworld Conservation Centre.

Tales of this living legend say that he was born in the Okavango Delta in Botswana back in 1900.

He was brought to the conservation centre in around 1985 and has been aging like fine wine ever since.

Henry’s annual birthday bash includes the big boy getting a meaty treat and free cupcakes to his visitors.
