Support SPCA’s gift wrapping fundraiser

The SPCA will be open on December 24 from from 08:00 to 13:00. It will be closed on December 25 and 26.

Why spend time wrapping gifts when you can get it done at the Lower South Coast SPCA‘s annual Christmas gift wrapping table at Entrance 2 of the SouthCoast Mall?

The gift wrapping fundraiser will run until December 24. For last minute Christmas shopping, the mall is open on December 23 from 08:00 to 18:00 and on December 24 from 08:00 to 17:30.

Valerie Ungerer, who has coordinated the annual gift wrapping event for the last seven years, started making her collection of ribbons and cards in March this year.

“I made 5 000 ribbons and special cards to specially decorate the gifts once wrapped. The SPCA buys the wrapping paper, and gifts are wrapped in exchange for a donation,” she said.

She explained that the annual fundraiser is an important event for the society and extended a heartfelt thanks to the SouthCoast Mall for the opportunity.

All pre-loved items are welcome.

The SPCA will be open on December 24 from 08:00 to 13:00 and will be closed on December 25 and 26.

It will be open for strays on January 1, from 08:00 to 12 noon.
