JUST IN: MEC to host follow-up meeting on service delivery disruption

The much-anticipated meeting, will hopefully, find a solution to the three-month long workers' strike.

The MEC for Cogta, Rev Thulasizwe Buthelezi, will be visiting the KZN South Coast tomorrow (January 31) to  review progress on a solution to an ongoing strike.

This is his second visit, and if need be, he will take further action.

Representatives from civil societies including: ratepayers, police, tourism sector, business and religious sectors have been invited to attend the meeting at the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality council chambers in Port Shepstone at 10:00.

The ongoing strike of three months has crippled the coast, affecting service delivery and tourism.
