Nothing sweet about Raspberry Lane
The appalling state of South Coast suburbs shows that service delivery is not a priority.
‘Holey Moley!’ is probably the most appropriate way to describe the state of Raspberry Lane in Umtentweni.
Resident Nikki Gildenhuys is desperate to get help so she can drive to her gate.
She has been pleading for help for the last five years or so.
“It’s beyond comprehensible! Our businesses and our cars are suffering. One has to ask the question: What are we paying our rates for?” she questioned.
Nomusa Zulu of Ray Nkonyeni Municipality confirmed the query had been received. “We will revert when information has been received from the relevant stakeholders,” she said.
