Woman stabbed multiple times on N2, near Tweni [WATCH]

A woman (38) who was walking on the bridge over the N2, near Tweni was attacked and stabbed several times on Tuesday evening this week.

The woman ran to the Tweni Toll Plaza for help.

Police responded to the scene at about 23:00, where they found a woman being attended to by paramedics after she had been stabbed several times.

Lazer 911 officers also responded to assist, and Med-Evac transported the woman to hospital.

A case of attempted murder has been opened for investigation at Saps Port Shepstone.
