Melodious choirs win amazing cash prizes

The choirs' music kept the mall's underground parking vibrating with songs of celebration as the winners received their prizes.

Port Shepstone Mall recently hosted a successful schools’ choir competition with the aim to give back to the local school community in a fun-filled way, along with Shoprite as one of the sponsoring partners.

The best-performing schools won lovely prizes.

Dlukulwana Primary claimed first place in the primary schools category and won R30 000.

The winners sang songs of celebration and danced all the way to receive their awards from the mall’s management.

The primary and secondary schools performed to the best of their ability to win well-deserved prizes.
In the primary schools’ category, first place was claimed by Dlukulwane Primary, which walked away with R30 000.

Mshweshwe High placed third and won R10 000.

In the secondary schools’ section, Phathwa High and Port Shepstone High placed joint first and won R22 500 each.

Sethembinkosi Primary claimed second place and won R15 000.

The schools that placed second in their respective categories won R15 000 each, and those that came third walked away with R10 000 each.

Port Shepstone High placed joint first.
