Friday 13th brings good luck to sardine netters

There was netting in Mtwalume this morning.

South Coasters are kicking off the weekend with even more Sardine Run action in the area.

There was a successful sardine netting in the Sea Park and Mtwalume areas today (Friday the 13th).

It is believed that crates are being sold for about R250 each in Mtwalume.

The chillier weather seems to have attracted more sards to the South Coast.

Earlier this week, despite the damaging winds and heavy rain, seine netters were out in full force and able to bring ashore the little silver fish in areas such as Umkomaas and Umgababa.
