Car winner is super excited
To enter the competition, a customer needs to buy any participating product and then swipe their SPAR rewards card.
Excitement was written all over Luyanda Tyolo’s face as he took ownership of a new Hyundai Grand i10 at SuperSPAR Port Edward last Thursday.
Luyanda from Zikhuba in Bizana is a winner in the SPAR Win a Car competition. His new set of wheels was handed to to him by the owners of the store, Juan and Xavian Pretorius.
He entered the competition by getting a SPAR Rewards card and shopping.
“They called me two days later that I won a car, I did not believe it. I thought it was a scam, but now that I have seen the car, I am super excited.”
The store’s operations manager, Revier van Rooyen, said to enter the competition a customer needs to buy any participating product and then swipe their SPAR rewards card.
