Neon energy lights up night run at Port Shepstone Country Club

Third night run at Port Shepstone Country Club a glowing success.

The third edition of Port Shepstone Country Club’s Night Run last Friday drew about 80 runners and walkers in striking neon gear. Families, friends, school groups and even dogs joined the fun, with walkers and runners choosing between a 2.5km lap or the 5km challenge.

It’s a family affair for Jacque and Liandri Verheem with their children, Ziacque and Jacqoe.

The youngest runner was just five, while Ronan Rogers finished first in the 5km.

Keeping fit are William Lemon and Sue Nell.

Sumansha Rupnarain, marketing manger of the PSCC, said the vibrant event was hailed a huge success thanks to community support, with special thanks to Lazer 911 Security, Beekman Group, Nadine Crouch and her father, Howard.
