Let’s make waves for NSRI fundraiser on the South Coast

Pledge and support NSRI fundraising drive.

Adventure seekers and beach lovers are encouraged to take part in the Splish Splash South Coast Adventure this Sunday (26th), in support of the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI).

The event will see participants embark on a 12-stop guided beach tour, showcasing some of the KZN South Coast’s most scenic and lesser-known coastal spots – from tidal pools and snorkelling sites to golden beaches and rocky treasures.

According to organisers, the day promises a mix of fun, fitness and fundraising, with activities such as sandcastle building, swimming and exploring natural coastal features along the way.

The NSRI, a volunteer-run non-profit organisation, will be present throughout the event to ensure safety while raising awareness of its lifesaving work.

Proceeds from the Splish Splash Adventure will go directly towards funding lifesaving operations and rescue services along South Africa’s coastline.

In addition to joining the adventure, individuals, corporates, restaurants and coffee shops are invited to pledge a cash amount in support of the NSRI’s work.

“We’re encouraging people to challenge friends, families or businesses to match or beat their pledge,” said Desere Bouillon, event organiser.

“Every contribution helps the NSRI continue its vital operations and training.”

To book, WhatsApp Desere: 072 4172856.
