Singer Sandie Madlala captivates at talent competition in Amanzimtoti

Singing sensation Sandie Madlala has made quite a name for herself after sharing her talent on a big platform.
The admin clerk from Umkomaas Saps was a finalist in this year’s Galleria’s Got Talent competition. And although she not did take the title, her singing touched many hearts and captivated audiences.
To celebrate her achievement, acting station commander Lieutenant Colonel John Ngema presented Sandie with a prestigious award last week.
“She is a radiant, inspiring, tenacious woman who represents Umkomaas Saps at many events,” said Ngema.
Sandie is also a mother of four and has achieved widespread popularity and recognition for her abilities and musical performance.
Starting from praise and worship in church to Gospel, Afro Pop and R&B, the local songstress has been hailed as the ‘Umkomaas Saps singing star’ who adds spirit and style to Saps events.
With numerous years of financial expertise in the Saps, she is studying towards a Diploma in Public Management and attended numerous courses in the Saps.
She completed a flight attendant’s course and presently sings with Royal Notes led by Theo Pillay.
“Sandie amplifies a voice that is both technically skilled and emotionally impactful, conveying a sense of ethereal beauty,” said Umkomaas Saps spokesperson, Captain Ranjith Rampersad.
“She is powerful, brilliant, claims her space and promotes service excellence. As the sweet music celebration reverberates throughout her life she ensures to prioritise her family and work.”
Umkomaas Saps wishes Sandie all the best as she continues her musical journey.
