Celebrate Henry the Nile crocodile’s 125th birthday in Scottburgh
It will be a day filled with fun and various activities.
It is once again that time of the year to celebrate a Scottburgh’s celebrity’s birthday – Henry the Nile crocodile.
This massive and super popular croc known across the globe, will be turning 125-years-old on December 16 (Day of Reconciliation).
Henry invites the public to visit him at Crocworld Conservation Centre for a day filled with fun and various activities, and of course free cupcakes (first come, first served).
Henry is considered the oldest known Nile crocodile in captivity, and together with his long-time companion Colgate (who is now in his 90s), he continues to be one of Scottburgh’s most iconic residents.
Henry was born in the Okavango Delta in Botswana where he lived most of his life, and was moved to Crocworld in 1985.
And although he’s missing some teeth and toes, Henry is still healthy and happy to meet visitors daily.
