Christmas visit filled with love at baby home

Their continued support exemplifies what true community upliftment looks like.

Hearts in Hands NPO celebrated a truly heart-warming visit to Genesis El-Roy Baby Home in Port Shepstone recently.

It was a morning defined by joy, generosity and the spirit of giving.

“This remarkable home, known for its warmth, exceptional care, and the dedication of its compassionate team, once again welcomed us with open arms,” said Kim Griffith Jones, project manager.

“Each visit reminds us of the extraordinary work being done to nurture and protect the little ones who call Genesis El-Roy their safe haven.”

Kim said deepest gratitude was expressed to Khwezi Skills Development, whose generous sponsorship of gifts and treats brought wide smiles and a touch of Christmas magic to every child.

Their continued support exemplifies what true community upliftment looks like.

She also thanked student volunteers, Nic Doveton and Trinity-Mia Klokie, both Grade 11 learners from Creston College for their help.

“These inspiring teens took the lead in shopping for and packing each gift, and spent meaningful time engaging with the children.”

Kim said their kindness, initiative and willingness to serve offers hope for a bright and compassionate future generation.
