Stationery drive equips vulnerable learners in Umzinto
The drive forms part of As Qaasimul Ilm Foundation's long-standing commitment to community upliftment through education.
Qaasimul Ilm Foundation successfully completed its annual stationery drive in Umzinto, an initiative dedicated to equipping children with essential learning tools and empowering them through education.
The drive forms part of the foundation’s long-standing commitment to community upliftment through education.
As Qaasimul Ilm Foundation approaches its 10th anniversary, this milestone further reflects a decade of sustained efforts to improve access to education and support vulnerable learners.
Each year, the foundation embarks on this initiative to ensure that children are not disadvantaged due to a lack of basic educational resources. The 2025 stationery drive once again saw generous support from individuals and organisations who share the foundation’s vision of educational equity.
Commenting on the initiative, founder Clr Asghar Khan, stated that education is the catalyst for community development and ultimately the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
“By investing in our children today, we are investing in a stronger and more sustainable future for our communities,” he said.
“Qaasimul Ilm Foundation extends its gratitude and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the drive.”
As the foundation looks ahead to its 10th anniversary, it remains committed to expanding its impact and continuing initiatives that place education at the centre of community development.
