Padel tourney in Albersville fundraises for children in need

Islamic Relief South Africa, which has been serving vulnerable children and families in need for over four decades, held a successful padel and soccer fundraising tournament at the Albersville Astro Arena recently.

According to Abdur Rahman Kharsany (Community Fundraiser for Islamic Relief), the funds will go to the organisation’s Orphan General Fund which helps families in need, especially vulnerable children.

Kharsany explained that donors from around the world make sure that children’s basic rights are met by sponsoring an amount of R1 200 every month.
