Crocodile safely removed from Kelso beach

The Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife responded to the scene.

South Coasters were left speechless this weekend after news broke about a crocodile discovered at Kelso Beach on the Mid South Coast (KZN) on Friday afternoon.

The croc, which appeared to be small but fairly decent-sized, was spotted by a paraglider who then promptly contacted the relevant authorities for assistance in its removal for the safety of all.

The Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) responded to the call, and later that evening CROW members were able to safely capture and remove the croc.

CROW has been contacted for additional information about the croc and its removal. An update will be provided once more details become available.
