Support Sea Park to Umtentweni Beach clean-up
Community members are invited to take part in the initiative aimed at keeping the coastline clean and protecting the local environment.
The Rotary Club of Port Shepstone, in partnership with the Bendigo Conservancy, will host a beach clean-up on Sunday, March 22, from 15:00 to 17:00.
The starting point and drop-off will be at Sea Park Beach parking at 15:00, at the end of 1st Avenue. Everyone will make their way along the beach, with the finishing point and pick-up scheduled for 17:00 at Umtentweni Beach parking, at the end of Marine Drive.
Refuse bags will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and refreshments.
Those wishing to take part are asked to RSVP to Dee on 071 8662129 by 12:00 on Saturday, March 19.
Residents, families and local businesses are encouraged to support the clean-up effort and play their part in preserving the South Coast’s beaches.
