Help make Ramsgate the best-managed town in South Africa

On Saturday, March 21, the village will host Ramsgate Rights Day at the Lions Club, Glenmarkie Road, Ramsgate.

In a powerful display of community solidarity, six of Ramsgate’s leading non-profit organisations have officially united under a single banner to ensure the village doesn’t just survive, but thrives.

For the past year, a dedicated NGO forum – comprising the Ramsgate Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association (RRRA), Ramsgate Tourism, the Community Police Forum, Ramsgate Urban Development Precinct NPC (RUDP), Tidy Towns Ramsgate, and the Ramsgate Lions Club – has been meeting behind the scenes to align their visions, share resources, and tackle the village’s biggest challenges.

Now, they are inviting the public to see the results of this collaboration.

On Saturday, March 21, the village will host Ramsgate Rights Day at the Lions Club, Glenmarkie Road, Ramsgate.
The day will feature interactive stalls, project updates and opportunities to sign up for volunteer tasks or membership.

Whether you have professional skills to offer, a few hours a month to spare, or simply want to understand where your levies and donations are going, this is the day to show up.

The community will have the unique opportunity to meet the Big Six volunteer teams behind the scenes:
· RRRA: The guardians of ratepayer interests and village governance.
· Tourism: Promoting Ramsgate as a premier South African destination.
· CPF: Working hand-in-hand with Saps to keep the streets safe.
· RUDP: Driving urban development and planning projects.
· Tidy Towns: The hands-on crew keeping beaches and streets pristine.
· Lions Club: The heart of local charity and community service.

Ramsgate is a village defined by its people. On March 21, come and see how your contribution – no matter how small – can help make Ramsgate the best-managed town in South Africa.
