Join frog pond build in Southport this Saturday

Residents are being invited to take part in a hands-on community project aimed at creating a new habitat for local frogs.
The Bendigo Conservancy will host a Building a Froggie Pond community project at B–Cubed Guesthouse also known as Leka’s this Saturday (14th), from 08:00 to 13:00.
The initiative aims to create a frog-friendly pond to support local biodiversity and provide a safe habitat for amphibians in the area.
Everyone is encouraged to wear gumboots and tough gloves and to bring along a big spade to assist with the digging and groundwork.
Leka’s restaurant will be open throughout the morning, offering refreshments and meals for those taking part.
