It is almost time for the mid-South Coast community to come together and support an upcoming initiative for Child Welfare Umzinto. Bring your family and friends for a fun 5km Colour Walk on the Scottburgh beachfront while raising funds for vulnerable children in the community.
Attendees can expect a colour powder fun walk, kids zone, Easter egg hunt, food stalls, craft markets, live music and family games.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 4, from 09:00 to 15:00. Registration for the colour walk is at 08:30. The cost is R30 for adults and R15 for children under 12.

Well done to eight-year-old Liam Leech who fished hard all day last Saturday at the 22nd annual New Hanover fishing competition.
This is the largest bass fishing competition in the southern hemisphere, with 1300 people fishing in 20 dams. Liam won dam 15 and got prizes and a trophy. He came second overall in the junior division.

TC Robertson Nature Reserve’s Mongoose Tea Garden offers a beautiful midweek escape into nature every Wednesday, from 09:00 to 12:00. Take note, the cost is now R60 per person and includes tea/coffee plus homemade treats. Booking is essential for groups of eight or more. Contact 082 6227699.
Osisibethemba (Sisters of Hope) works with the rape crisis centre at GJ Crookes Hospital in Scottburgh and blesses the less fortunate with clothes, toys, blankets, sweets and snacks, and hygiene products (general toiletries, feminine hygiene items, etc.).
