'Shotgun Wedding' promises side-splitting satire

It's for one night only at Wild Coast Sun Tropical Nites Theatre on March 28.

There’s an outrageous wedding comedy show coming to the Wild Coast Sun Tropical Nites Theatre for one night only.

Catch this side-splitting satire ‘ Shotgun Wedding’ on Saturday, March 28 at 19:00. This show isn’t your typical fairy-tale wedding but rather an arranged marriage of pure political mayhem.

From the mischievous minds of Yugan Naidoo and Vivian Moodley it’s a family comedy.

Shotgun Wedding is a blend of political parody, music, dance, and razor-sharp wit-all wrapped up in a two-hour joyride of love, lies, and legislation.

Think of it as “Love Island” meets Parliament, with live music and a full-blown wedding reception and bonkers wedding thrown in.

It’s one of the only full-scale stage comedies tackling the GNU head-on – and with both eyes rolling. Expect live music, outrageous characters, and the kind of improv genius that only Yugan Naidoo can deliver. The cast includes icons from Too Muckin Fuch, Generations, Isidingo, Imbewu: The Seed, and Netflix’s global hit The Kandasamys.

No foul language – just fast-paced, family-friendly fun with enough cheek and charm to make even the minister of finance crack a smile.

Tickets cost from R170 per person and can be purchased via Computicket. For further information ,contact Patrick Samuels on 084 4090131.
